Juris is case management built for small law firms, with an assistant that checks every citation against the authoritative source before it reaches a lawyer. If you know firms that should be using it, we would rather pay you than an advertising platform.

How it works

    You apply

    Tell us who you are and who you know. A person reads every application.

  2. 2

    We send an agreement

    If it is a fit, you get a partnership agreement setting out exactly what you earn and for how long. You read it and sign it online.

    You get your code

    Your referral code is issued once the agreement is signed. Codes are never generated automatically and never before a signature.

    A firm signs up with it

    They pay 10% less for their first twelve months. The discount is applied by our payment processor, not by us remembering to apply it.

    You earn while they stay

    You earn a share of what that firm actually pays us, every month they remain a customer. Statements and payments are quarterly.

Two ways in

You are a law firm

If your own Juris subscription is active, you earn at the higher rate. If it lapses, your rate moves down on every firm you referred, including ones you referred earlier. If you subscribe later, it moves back up the same way.

You introduce firms

A consultant, an accountant, a bar association contact. You do not need to be a lawyer and you do not need to use Juris. You earn on every firm you bring, for as long as they stay.

What we will not bury in the terms

  • You are paid on money we actually collect. Not on signups, not on trials. If a firm is refunded, that commission is reversed.
  • The first payment waits sixty days. Commission starts building from the firm’s first payment and you can see it immediately, but it becomes payable once that firm has been an active customer for sixty days. It is a hold, not a cut, and it never expires.
  • A law firm partner’s rate follows their own subscription. This is stated in the agreement and on your portal, and we email you the day it changes rather than letting a statement tell you.
  • We never invoice you to take money back. If a quarter nets negative it carries against your next one.
  • You never see a referred firm’s work. No matters, no documents, no clients. You see the date they signed up, whether they are active, and what you earned. Firms choose whether their name is shown to you at all.
  • Juris is sold to law firms only. Please do not refer members of the public looking for legal help; we cannot serve them.
  • If you are a lawyer, check with your law society. Referral fees between lawyers are regulated, and whether a software commission is caught is your regulator’s question, not ours. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice.

The founding group is small and we would rather it stayed that way, so we can look after it properly.
